She makes me feel like I’m actually alive. I met her in a crappy art class, I made her laugh and fell in love with her the second I saw her smile.

I used to have awful self-esteem because of verbal and physical abuse. I had bulimia and used to cut myself. One day I began talking to a boy I didn’t know very well and we became good friends.

We’re going to different schools. But he promises to not let it get between us. Every day he calls me before school, to remind me how beautiful I am and tells me he loves me.

My boyfriend and I were playing with each other at my house one day. After he was teasing me, he wrapped his arms around me and said, “I Love You” and I said, “Yeah? Prove it!” He just looked at me and said, “In 4 years I will!”

Yesterday I got my braces on. I went out with friends to forget about them, but I am very insecure about them.

My grandparents have been married for 57 years. A couple days ago, I was over at their house. They were sitting on the couch, holding hands.
