Today I was walking around in Walmart with my boyfriend and his brothers. While holding hands with him, an old lady stopped us, spoke up, said to me, “he’s handsome, hang onto him.” Her random compassion for two total strangers in love GMH.
In 6th grade, I was in the hospital for a week due to an asthma attack. Being only 11 years old, I was afraid to spend the night alone. So, my Oma, who has back problems, slept on a metal chair every night to stay with her scared granddaughter. My oma’s love GMH.
My dad was deployed. He told everyone he was coming back Easter in 2011. For Christmas, my family woke up to a huge box by the tree. My mom was confused because she didn’t put it there. It said it was to me, so I opened it. My dad was sleeping in the box. His love for his family GMH. I love you dad
Today I recieved my 21st birthday card from my 92 year old great grand mother. Although she is mentally healthy her body is extremely fragile, making writing extremely difficult. Her card simply said “I love you,” but I know it took a lot of effort for her to write that. Her love for me GMH
My first boyfriend molested me several times.
After confessing what happened for the first time, a friend of mine comforted me, telling me to take everything one day at a time. When I explained that I didn’t know any guys willing to go that slow, he responded “You know one”. Andrew, your LGMH.
My little sister just shaved her head for Locks of Love. My parents tried to talk her out of it, but two days ago I drove her to the salon. Yesterday, she graduated kindergarten with a shiny scalp. When people asked why she cut her hair, she said “Because somebody needs it more than I do.”
I have a 2 o’clock app today at the salon.
My mom and dad died when I was 4.
My twin brother has downs.

The other day I was rushed to the emergency.
While I was sitting there, my boyfriend walked in and sat with me. He waited there with me for nine hours, missing a family dinner. He told me that being there when I needed him was more important than the event he was missing. It was his birthday. LGMH.

I don’t have an iPod and I have a cheap second hand phone with a bad plan for emergencies. I’ve never had a lot.
Today was my birthday and I got one gift. From my boyfriend.

It's 3:30AM and I can't stop thinking of her.
One day I made a huge mistake and was worried she’d leave me. Instead, she held me when I cried and kissed the tears away. I’m still hard to deal with, but she’s still here. My angel’s love GMH.

I went to the movies with my boyfriend last night.
His arm was around me and I was leaning against his chest.
Unintentionally, my shirt had stretched up a little.
Instead of trying to feel me, he pulled it back down over my skin.

A few months ago a woman came to speak to our class about drunk driving.
She said if we were ever stranded, no matter where, and drunk if we called her she would pick us up no matter what time.

He tried to say it but it came out all messed up.

I had to tell him we couldn’t see eachother until things got better at home.

Then, he mentioned it to his mom and his mom told me to stay with them that night.
So, the next day I got a call that my dad was in jail. My boyfriend’s mom called the cops.

A while ago I was highly suicidal and the girl I really liked found out.
Instead of telling my guidence counsler she would call me every night at midnight and talk to me untill i was to exhausted to even think about suicde.

I met a man who was on the real schindler’s list during the Holocaust.
He told me of how his brother was given the offer to be saved from the train going to auschwitz.
He said no.
Why? Cause he wanted to stay with his girlfriend till the end. Their LGMH
I was feeling really lonely, and then he canceled our Valentine’s date because it was late and he had a huge lab to finish.
I cried the whole way home. Half an hour later, he showed up at my doorstep, telling me that in 70 years, his chem grade is not going to matter, but I will. Sean, you GMH
One year ago, I was suicidal.
I had tried cutting, burning myself, and self inflicted pain wherever possible. One day, I decided to end it. I climbed a bridge. I was about to jump when i hand pulled me back. Four years later, I’m headoverheels in love with the girl that kept me alive. Sams LGMH
She was a good girl, she graduated from high school and college, but had never been in love.

Recently a teacher at my brother’s school found out she had Cancer.
I figured no one would do anything about it but gossip, like little kids do. Today my brother came home and informed me that the whole school has been requesting to make her cards during Art class. They’re LGMH.
She was told to abort.
They said her daughter would be mentally retarded since she was getting too old for kids. They were wrong. 13 years later, I am a healthy, 5’7” honors student. My mom’s determination to have a daughter and love for me gives me hope.
My parents recently got a divorce, and I have been wondering if it’s possible to stay in love when you’re dealing with kids and jobs etc.
This morning in church I saw a couple sitting with their 3 children between them. They were holding hands behind the pew over them. Their love GMH
